DISPILL

Our team has extensive experience in Patient care and our goal is to provide a personalized service to each of our clients.

Elgin Care Pharmacy is proud to offer the Dispill™ medication management system to our customers.

Dispill™ is a patented, cold-sealed, multi-dose medication packaging system.

Each Dispill™ pack is made up of 28 individual blisters containing a person’s  prescribed medication for a specific time and date. Blister packs can be

personalized according to each patient’s or person’s prescribed medication.

In addition, Dispill™ provides fast access to essential information. The top of

each individual blister pack lists the person’s name, the medication within and the

time it should be taken. Carrying a Dispill™ blister pack lets everyone, including

all health care professionals, know about the medication being taken.

The Dispill™ system is simple, safe and convenient and provides many benefits:

¥ Blisters are easy to open, detachable and portable;

¥ Colour-coding clearly indicates time of day medication should be taken;

¥ Blisters are filled by our pharmacists which greatly reduces medication

errors.

Benefits of Dispill™

versus Traditional Blister Cards  Enhanced Safety: Each Dispill™ blister is color-coded

to represent different dosage times. Because medication is administered directly from the Dispill™ blister, you can be assured that if the blister is open you have already taken the right dose for the allotted time.

Increased Portability: Each Dispill™ blister is easily detachable which allows you to take only the medications that you need when you go out for the day,

Take short trips or leave your room to take breakfast with friends. This eliminates the need to carry bulky blister cards and makes taking medications more discreet.

Ease of Administration: The Dispill™ blister eliminates the step of transferring your medications to a cup because you can take your medications directly from

the blister
